Geoservices has long been a leader in the field of reservoir monitoring and downhole data acquisition. We were among the first companies to develop quartz crystal memory gauges. This track record of innovation continues today with the development of technologies such as electromagnetic (EM) data transmission, high pressure / high temperature gauges and a downhole shut-in tool (BEST).
Current memory gauge technology operates up to 200 °C with quartz pressure sensor accuracy of 2.10-4 Full Scale, resolution being 1.10-6 Full Scale. Sampling rate can be adjusted from 1 second to 1 hour. Current design is 1-1/4’’ OD / 700 mm long.
BEST, downhole shut in tool, ensures fast down-hole production shut-in which broadens the time window for analysis by adding more reliable data and by ensuring undisturbed natural pressure response from the reservoir. This is crucial for the data/model matching process for more accurate near wellbore heterogeneity detection and characterization.

A set of production logging tools is available and can be performed either on Slickline or on Electric line. Combined with the latest software analysis packages, Geoservices production logging tools and personnel provide highly accurate measurement of downhole conditions. Some surveys are dedicated to well integrity checking such as cement quality and corrosion logging.
