Geoservices is a worldwide provider of mechanical wireline services. This service is in daily use in oil, gas or water wells when running and retrieving downhole tools and flow control equipment such as valves in gas lift pockets, safety valves, adjusting sleeves or repairing partially collapsed tubing using a tubing swage.
Our scope of work ranges from light operations such as:
- setting a locking mandrel in a landing nipple,
- shearing the pin on running tools,
- removing tool string stuck in hole
to more heavy duty operations such as:
- unsetting plugs in hole for years and stuck due to sediments
- fishing big diameter plugs during completion job in deviated wells
- fishing lost-in-hole wire line strings
- removing tubing swage stuck in tubing.
This requires special attention from the slickline operators, which means that preparation and experience are major keys to success. Our supervisors are always able to anticipate while operating, and interpret the various data/events and provide/report appropriate solutions to their client. Reporting is a deliverable and the proof that the operation has been successfully carried out according to plan.
